Forbidden Psalm
Kevin Rahman

Concept: “Vriprix the Mad Wizard bids the desperate, brave and foolish to venture into the ruins of Kergus. He seeks the forbidden psalm.”
Content:
A full, stand-alone 28mm wargame based on (and compatible with) Mörk Borg
Writing:
There’s a lot of it—which is necessary for a tactics game—but it’s straightforward and clear in its exposition
Art/design:
A balance of familiar graphic and typographic maneuvers balanced with the technical clarity and readability demanded by a more complex system
Usability:
A more methodical, strategically oriented game, but a good fit for fans of wargames and Mörk Borg

Mörk Borg Lite!
Walton Wood

Concept: “A pretty not-good April Fools joke.”
Content:
A business card-size spoof of Mörk Borg
Writing:
There is only one rule: you die and the world ends
Art/design:
Condenses the aesthetic into an itty-bitty space
Usability:
In no way does this qualify as a real game

On the Bones of Bathala [FÖLK-LORE jam]
Ar-Em Bañas

Concept: “On the Bones of Bathala is a grimdark game inspired by Ancient Philippines and Filipino folklore creatures.”
Content:
Includes alternate apocalyptic lore, setting-specific character creation and rules, gear, and monsters
Writing:
Maintains Mörk Borg’s tone and focus but adds a markedly more-condescending attitude and humor
Art/design:
Graphic design and layout all show Nohr’s influence but tend toward more distinctly liberal utilization of space and an aesthetic that leans more toward clear mimesis than affective expression
Usability:
A stand-alone, fully functional product exploding with character
